My mom is 54 (maybe 55, whenever i ask she says its rude to ask a lady her age) She’s presenting symptoms of Alzheimer’s
She’s turning into much like a kid. She’s Starting to forget how to do common tasks like cooking. her memory Retention is real poor she cant hold onto a piece of information for more than a half hour, reading is becoming difficult for her. She’s forgetting people’s names. She’s forgetting to feed the dogs which has been her main chore for almost 9 years. She even forgot how to answer the phone, and she for got what the speed limit meant. She drops things and she makes a mess with her food because she has trouble holding the fork/spoon by herself
do you think this could be Alzheimer’s
or is she just getting old?
if it sounds like it
what’s the next step for us to take
